TIRII'EA, July 4
Despite the boisterous weather there was a large attendance at a euchre party hold at tho residence of Mr and M a. B. Kilsby. If "'as appropriate that Mr and Mrs Kilsby should prove the winners for the ladies’ and mem’s prizes respectively. Mrs \V. M. Webster, on behalf of those present, thankod Mr and Mrs Ivilsby for their hospitality. Mrs Webster also thanked Mrs W. Knowles for u, fine pair of “clippers” which she had kindly donated. Another euchre party has been a ranged and will be held at the residence of Mr and Mrs F. N. Andrews. Mr F. N. Andrews is to be congratulated on his success at the recent Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot held in Wellington. M r 11. R. Stratum, who has been staying with Mr and. Mrs B. H. Smith, has returned to his home in Apiti.
