DROUGHT IN WHEAT BELT
Received Julv 3. 1.50 p.m. CHICAGO, July 2. Wheat trading has been halted abruptly in accordance with regulations issued late to-day. United States and Canadian wheat has soared five cent 6 a bushel since yesterday. Maize has also risen tour cents. The unusual rise in wheat was caused by the alarming extension of the drought from the United States spriug wheat belt into Canada.
