CONFLICT WITH POLICE

Received July 3, 1.50 p.m. WARSAW, July 2.

A crowd of 10,000 unemployed land workers marched to the Lemberg police station and demanded the release of their leaders who were arrested after rioting. This was refused. Mounted police charged the crowd without effect and then fired. Ten of tho unemployed were killed and many wounded. Four of the police were seriously injured.
