LONGBERN

(From Our Own Correspondent.) LOXGBURX, July 2. A euchre tournament was held in the St. Chad's Church hall recently. There was a good attendance, and prizes were won by the following;—Ladies, Mrs R. Day 1, Airs Martin, consolation; men. Air Coley 1, Air AY. Rowland, consolation. Airs A 1 do rely and her son, of Lower Hutt, are the guests of Air and Airs J. Aldcrsly. Aire' Alorris. of Hastings, is spending a few days with Air and Airs J. Callcsen, Karerc. Aliss 1., Gilmer, of Oiaki, has been staving with Air and Airs W. Campbell.
