ARRESTS MADE.
CHARGE AT TIMARU.

TIMAIIU, July 1. The Timaru police to-night arrested two young men in the vicinity of Pareora, and they will be charged with converting a car the property of a Mosgiel resident. An epidemic of earthieving commenced at Ashburton on Monday since when cars have been stolen from Timaru, Herbert, Dunedin. Invercargill and Mosgiel.
