A RECIPE.

LEMON PIE. Beat lightly 3 eggs, add 6oz sugar, the grated rind of half a lemon, I cupful lemon juice and 2 tablespoonfuls water. Bake in a pastry-lined hat tin in a moderate oven. Cool slipnitly. Cover with meringue mixture made by whipping egg whites with sugar and lemon juice, and return to the oven until the meringue is nicely browned.
