July 1, the jUanawatu Scottish Society xx ill hold its fourth annual gathering o’ the clans in the 0c Luxe Hall, George Street, when patrons can bo assured of a royal welcome and a splendid evening's dancing. The grand march its timed to start at 8 o’clock when truly Scotch music will be provided by members of tho Pipe Band. From then until 2 a.in. a splendid programme of dancing has been arranged to tho music of Hammond’s professional orchestra of eight ■players. Patrons will remember tho unqualified succcf.i of last year’s event, and indications arc that this year’s function will be even greater. We arc determined to make a clearance of our floral semi-evening silks if price will do it. Exquisite dark and light grounds in georgettes, marocaincs and crepes are included.
