(From Our Own Correspondent.) MT. RICHARDS ROAD, Juno 17. Miss E. Wingate, “Cairnsmore,” visited her sister, Aim W. R. Kibblowliite, Waipukiirau, during the week-end. Air and Airs Harvey and family recently loft this district for Feilding. Air and Airs A. X. Roberts have had as their guests Mr and Airs A. X. Brighton, of Dannevirke. Miami Alrn J. L. Xaeli. of Linton, and Air ■ and Mrs J. Preston, of Otago, have lately been visitors to the district, 'flic prolific: growth of grass experienced during the late summer and autumn has been considerably reduced by the recent frosts, eight of these having already been recorded this month.
