DANCE FOR DEBUTANTE,

BIISS ADA COPE

Bliss Ada Cope, only daughter of Blr and Blrs G. B. Cope, was a charming debutante when she made her debut on Blonday evening at a dance held at the residence of her parents in Albert Street. The function was very successful, a happy time being spent. Blrs Cope received the guests wearing a trained gown of black panne velvet. Bliss Ada Cope wore a graceful frock of parchment mouseline over flared georgette, an accordion pleated frill which edged the slip underneath, snowing effectively round the bottom of the frock. A cream rose finished the front, and other features were a bertha round the shoulders and a cream satin sash. A cream flowered wrist band was a dainty note, and gold sandals were worn. The large room set aside for dancing was gaily decorated with white balloons and red and white streamers, while in the supper room pink chrysanthemums were effectively arranged.

Novelty dances and excellent music contributed by Blr I. Speight, who was assisted by Messrs D. Livingstone and J. Bloore, added to the enjoyment of the evening. Blr A. Eising also gave two humorous items. After supper, Blr J. Bloore, on behalf of those presnet, extended best wishes to Bliss Cope and very warm thanks to Blr and Blrs Cope tor such a pleasant gathering. Blr J. Cope suitably replied on behalf of Blr and Blrs Cope. Those present included Mesdames Greville and 81. Robinson, Blisses B. Smith (Woodvillc), B. Rodgers, 81. Greenaway, If. O'Connor, C. Ongley, P.
