SUPREME COURT

INTERPRETATION OF WILL. An application for an interpretation of certain clauses in the will of Sven Andersen, deceased, farmer, of Onnondvilie, was mude to His Honour Mr Justice Ostler under an originating summons in tho Supreme Court on Saturday. 1 Plaintiff was Andrew Anderson, farmer, of Ormondvillo, executor of the estate of the late Nia Magretha Andersen, sole executrix of the estate of the late Sven Andersen. His Honour was asked to determine two questions. He decided that a bequest to the widow was not an absolute interest, but a life estate, and that ambiguity of the word “living,” where it appeared, could be decided in favour of all children living at the time of the original testator’s death, and not that of liis widow.
