STUDENTS’ PRANK.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 14. The pranks of three students who went to a former master’s home early this morning following tho capping ceremony brought them to the Police Court charged with wantonly disturbing the inhabitant. After hearing the facts the case was dismissed on condition that an apology was tendered, the Magistrate remarking that it was not a clever joke. , , , Tho police stated that the students went to the master’s house at 1 o’clock, rang the bell, threw stones on the roof, and removed tho gate, which was afterwards picked up in a neighbour’s garden. The students were later located at the Octagon, when they were carrying a signboard removed from the High School rectory, they explained that it was a capping joke.
