MAKOWHAI SUPPLIERS’ DECISION

(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, April 21. Acting on the advice of, and under the direction of, the Executive Commission of Agriculture, negotiations have now been completed whereby the suppliers to the Makowhai Co-Operative Dairy ’Coy.. Ltd., have decided to close the cheese" factory and to supply the llongotca Company cn bloc. This is the first move, after the investigation of the Commission into tho economic running of Manawatu dairy factories and the over-lapping of cream collecting lorries. Negotiations respecting the zoning of supply and the prevention of overlapping are, it is understood, proceeding among tho various companies concerned. No ofheial advice has been received regarding the guaranteed prices scheme, which is to be considered by Parliament in the near future.
