VIOLENT COLLISION.
CAR PASSENGERS INJURED. Per Press Association. HASTINGS, April 20. A violent collision between two cars, causing varying degrees of injury, none of which was serious, to six people occurred at Te Mahanga, nine miles south of Hastings, on the Wellington main road yesterday. The more seriously injured are: Mrs J. R. Corskie, of Waipawa, head injuries, and Miss Una Powell, of Otane, dislocated knee. The condition of both is not serious. The cars were driven by Mr Corskie and Mr Frank R. Hunter, of Wanganui. They, and two other passengers in Mr Corskie’s car, were slightly injured. The cars were extensively damaged.
