MILSON.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) MILSON, April 20. The monthly meeting of the Tennis Club was hold during the week-end, Mr Bulmer presiding. It was decided to close the courts for the season on the 26th of the present month, and that a handicap tournament be hold on the closing date. A vote of appreciation was accorded Mrs Johansen for her efforts in raising funds for the club, and it was decided to forward her a letter of appreciaflon. Accounts amounting to £5 16s 6d were passed for payment. A five hundred tournament was held in the hall on Friday evening, there being a good attendance. The ladies’ prize was won by Mrs Barclay and Mr McDowell won the men’s. The lucky number was won by Miss Currin. Mr E. Johansen was in charge of the arrangements for the tournament.
