BLOODSTOCK SALES.
PRICES AT SYDNEY. SYDNEY, April 20. The annual Easter sale of brood mates, stallions and racehorses in training was held at Randwick to-day. Ga'nc Carrington was sold to a Queenslander for 650 guineas, and tho stallion Hobrus, by Delvizes—Chersonese, a halfbrother to Heroic, was also bought by a Queenslander for 700 guineas. Kuvcra was passed in at 500 guineas, and Gabahst was passed in at 525 guineas. The two-year-old Excitement filly Illawarra brought 550 guineas. The New Zealand Estate and Land Company bought the stallion Bold and Gay, by Bold and Bad—La Touche, for 90 guineas, on approval, and the stallion Euripides, by Crowdcnnis Queen Comedy, for 150 guineas. The brood mares Cream Jug (Limond Catulani) and Helesbrook (Limond— Oleum), sold for 60 and 200 guineas respectively. The winner of the Sydney Cup of 1934, Broad Arrow, who broke down during the running of this yca.r’s cup, lias been permanently retired from racing.
