INCREASED STAKES.
WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, April 20. The Wanganui Jockey Club’s general committee to-day decided to increase the slakes for the winter meeting in June from £2OOO to £3OO. „ The Wanganui Steeplechase, to bo run on the King’s Birthday, will bo worth £SOO, and the Century Hurdles on the first day £350.
