INTEREST IN FINALS TO-MORROW. MANAWATU SECOND DAY. REVIEW OF THE FIELDS. (By "Abaydos.") The Manawatu Trotting Club's meeting will conclude to-morrow when another very fine programme will bo presented. The fields arc again good, and with the form ot Saturday well disclosed and penalties arranged in a manner that, will bring the best of the performers closer together, many thrilling finishes can bo confidently expected. ' The all-round success achieved the first day should be reflected in a general and substantial increase to-morrow in the attendance and the totalisalor turnover. The Evans Challenge Cup final will also he a big feature of the sport, and with Treasure Bond 14 and Arapai 13. both having (wo engagements, the position is verv interesting. Others in .the running, are Bolinda King 11, Celebrity 11, Epilogue 10. and Rockclla 10. The broadcast review of the fields and running description of the racing will again be conducted bv Mr C. E. Craig, of Auckland. To-night at 7.30 Mr Craig will broadcast a review of the second day fields from station 2ZO. 12.15 PALMERSTON HANDICAP (trotters), of £6O; 3.49 class. One mile and a half.

Tccla, winner of the Awapuni Handicap, i* back to 35 yards, but after her fine display she is fi'till a possibility. Kraal ran two useful races on Saturday and is on the improve, which gives her good prospecis. Native Tree did not quite reach expectations, but with Margaret Parrish. who shows speed in patches, may go well. The others will require to improve to beat thonc named, the best of whom in public opinion may be: Kraal, Tecla, Margaret Parrish. 12.50 IMPROVKRS' HANDICAP, of £6O; 3.43 class. One mile and a half.

Activity is showing the most consistency of the limit horses, but Morion. Shadow King, and Cassidy may be benefited by the racing on Saturday. Baron Grand is useful while Roadster is making good progress, lleno did not have the best of luck the first day and should do better, while Meadow King is not without a chance. Fancies may be: Reno, Roadster, Activity. 1.25 TIRITEA HANDICAP; of £7O; -4.55 class. Two miles.

The trotter Arapai, who is in excellent form, will keep the pacers busy, and if he repeats his fine and solid displays will be hard to brat. King's Knight and Carus may improve, while Trcvo de Oro has plenty of speed. Epilogue is racing more colidlv, while Baron Alfonso is a good i stayer and will be running on at the finish. Great Chum is racing consistently, but the order may be: Baron Alfonso, Arapai, Epilogue. 2.5iLUUISSON HANDICAP, of £120; 4.45 class. Two miles.

Unless Blondie goes more kindly than on Saturday lie will be held safe by Our .UcKinney and Rare Hey, who are showing steady improvement. Rockella is staying on well and should be very dangerous, while Gimnond is improving with racing. Rayon d'Or won nicely the first day, but off* even marks, Treasure Bond may prove his superior. Fancies may include: Treasure Bond, Rockella, Rayon d'Or. 2.40 KAIRAXGA HANDICAP. of £6O; 3.5 class. One mile and a quarter.

Claodoknds, who was well driven by W. Orange on Saturday and made a splendid showing for his first start, and Activity read best of the limit horse*, but. Transfer, Moriori, Cassidy, Shadow King, and Juggler have prospects Travisque is a newcomer with some form, while Reno, Carus, and Real Pal will be dangerous. The beet supported may be: Claudclands, Activity, Travisque. 3.15 PUBLICANS' HANDICAP (trotters), of £7O; 5.2 class. Two miles.

Kraal looks the elect of the limit lot, with Native Tree next best, although Native Leaf, King Franz, Red Huia, and Bell Heather may ijecide to go solidly and upset calculations. f Aerial Boy and Lucky Rose are handily placed, but Arapai, although a long way' back, may beat them again. Some in favour may be: Arapai, Kraal, Lucky Rose. 3.50 KARERE HANDICAP, of £6O; 2.23 claso. One mile.

Electric Bell may bo in tune, but again she may not be ringing, and Celebrity, Epilogue, and Real Pal may attract more attention. Silk Cord should go a little better than on Saturday,, while the- 4 -race should improve .Muriel Bond. Allworthy looks the pick of the remainder. In a good pool the fancies may be: Silk Cord, Real Pal, Celebrity. 4.25 FAREWELL HANDICAP, of £7O; 2.54 class. One mile and a quarter.

Our McKinney and Rare Roy read best off the front line, but Blondie is capable of a surprise. Rockella is a good sprinter and Winshow is making useful progress. Bolinda King won nicely flic first day, while Treasure Bond, Guymond, and Rayon d’Or will make it very interesting. In a wide range of fancies the order may bo: Rare Roy, Bolinda King, Rockella. When Rayon d’Or won the Manawatu Trotting Cup on Saturday he put up record time for the event, and this fact was referred to by Mr J. Hodgens, M.P., who presented the handsoino cup to Mr G. 1-.. Craig, of Auckland, who received it on behalf of the owners, Dr M. S. l'ezaro and Mr E. S. Bridgens who were unable to be present. Mr Craig expressed the appreciation of the owners in winning the trophy, and paid a tribute to the trainer-driver, F, J. Smith.
