INQUEST VERDICT.

An inquest was held before the Coroner, Air’A. J. Graham, at Palmerston North this morning, into the death of AVilliam Rogers, blacksmith, aged 63, who was found dead in a boardinghouse on Monday. Evidence was given by Airs J. P. Blanche, at whose house deceased had resided, that she found him lying dead on the floor at 7.30 a.m.

Air Cyril King, F.R.C.S., testified that a post-mortem examination had disclosed fatty degeneration of the heart, which was the cause of death. The Coroner , returned a verdict in accordance wit hthe medical evidence.
