TANGIMOANA
The annual meeting of tlie Tangimoana branch of the Labour Party was held iu the McKelvie Hall. The meeting, which was well attende'd, was presided over by Jlr A. Carkeek. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Mr A.. Carkeek; vice-president, Mr P. Lofts; secretary-treasurer, Mr E. Lyon; executive committee, Airs P. Lofts, Messrs A. Alsop, T. Hayes, TL AVebhy, G. Alsop; delegates to L. meeting. Messrs A. Carkeek, E. Lyon, N. Scott. R. Webbv. P. Lofts ; delegate to conference, Air C. L. H unter, M. It was decided to extend a welcome to AIV C. L.. Hunter in the form of a social and dance in the near future. After business of a routine nature had been dealt with, all present adjourned to partake of supper kindly supplied by the lady members,
