CONTINENTAL SITUATION. Received February 12, 9.40 a.m. ANTWERP, Feb. 11. On the tops market futures, drycombcd Australian tops are quoted:— March, 28jd ; May-J uly, 29d. The Continent does not follow the lead of tlie English industry, which is maintaining a Jiigh rate of consumer tion. Users of tops abroad are reluctant to increase their commitments in view of the difficulty of obtaining higher prices for yarns. Spinners are therefore buying only for immediate requirements.
