GRAVE INJURIES.

SUFFERED BY BOY. Grave injuries were suffered by a four-year-old boy, Roger Calvin Bartlett, of 152 Victoria Avenue, Palmerston North, in an unfortunate accident which occurred shortly before 4.30 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of Broadway and the Square. The boy was involved in a collision with a car driven by Rev. Arthur. L. Haddon, of Dunedin, and after he had been knocked down, the rear righthand wheel passed over him. The injuries suffered by the boy include a fractured skull and laceration of the brain. His condition was reported by the Hospital authorities at noon to be very grave.
