BIG TRAFFIC CENSUS. (British Official "Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 9. The London . Passenger Transport Board will take a census of passenger traffic on the underground railways next week. Afterward particulars of some 7,500,000 journeys will have to be classified and studied. The work of sorting and analysing is expected to occupy a staff of 40 for seven or eight months. ’ The ooject of the periodic census is to provide data for a review of the working of the whole underground system, including interchange of station facilities.
