DR AAV ANNOUNCED. The entries for the New Zealand croquet championships, which open at Palmerston North on Wednesday, far exceed any previous record. The championships were last year held in Auckland. when the English and New Zealand representative teams took part, and play was of a very high standard. UNUSUAL CEREMONY. An unusual wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, on AVednesday, when the twin daughters of Air and Airs S. J. Weatherley. of Te Kowhai, were married. They were attended bv twin flower girls. The brides were Aliss Lilian AA’eatherley, who was married to Air Arnold Fredick Goldie Patterson, youngest son of Air and Airs A. E. Patterson, of Te Awamutu, and Aliss Olive Ellen AVeatherley, who was married to Mr Edward Alartineau Hayward, eldest son of Airs E. Hayward, of AVellington. The brides were attended by Miss Thelma Patterson and Aliss Alary McLachlan, while Alisses Shirley and Alerle Reid were the twin flower girls.
