A reinforced concrete chimney 275 ft high is being built in Battersea, London. It lias no scaffold, but a mechanical device at the ton rises as the chimney grows. Men and concrete are taken to the top hy an electric lift inside the chimney. It will he the highest concrete chimney in Britain.
