GIFT TO NATION.

PROPERTY IN WALES. (British Official Wireless.) Received November 21, 8.5 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 19. One of tho largest gifts ever made to the National Trust for the Preservation of Beauty Spots is reported, 'the donors are Lady Rhondda and the Dowager Lady Rhondda, whose gilt of 2130 acres of “The Sugar Loaf” Hill, nortli of Abergavenny, in Wales, has been accepted. From the top of this fine hill, which is 2000 feet high,. are magnificent views, and its acquisition is particularly appreciated as nitherto there have been very few trust properties in this neighbourhood. The gift is made as a memorial to the first Lord llhondda and also to mark the occasion of Their Majesties’ Silver Jubilee.
