SALES IN LONDON. GOOD COMPETITION. \ MERINOS HARDEN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 21, 1.10 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 20. At the wool sales 11,163 bales were offered, including 3849 from New Zealand. About 8840 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was good Home and Continental competition at full opening rates, Merinos displaying a hardening tendency. New Zealand -scoured Merinos, branded Oxford, reached 02id and averaged 22d. Slipe halfbred lambs, branded Fairfield, reached 17d and averaged 15id.
