APPRECIATION.
Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., has received the following letter from • the Manawatu Aero Club:—“ln acknowledging your message stating that the Minister of Defence has now advised you that ho has approved of the official recognition of the Middle Districts Aero Club, embracing Feilding, Manawatu and Levin, for the purpose of subsidy on pilots trained and the loan of Government aircraft, I wish to take the opportunity of conveying to you the sincere thanks of the Manawatu Aero Club for your active co-operation in support of the representations which have been made for some time past towards obtaining this recognition, which is a matter of very considerable importance to the progress and development of club aviation in these districts. In addition to this particular matter, there have also been quite a number of occasions during the past several years on which your support has been asked for and obtained in a very able and thorough manner in matters concerned with the interests of aviation in this district, and which have earned the gratitude of the club and have been in the general interests of the community.’
