CALF CLUBS
YESTERDAY’S JUDGING. The Kiwitea, Kinibolton and Apiti School entries were judged yesterday in connection with the ManawatuOroua Calf Club competitions. The judge was Mr J. W. Smith, of Buiiiivthorpe, who stated that he was pleased with the calves which came forward. Interest was added to the proceedings by a demonstration given at the Kiwitea School on' Jersey cows and Southdown sheep. The children listened attentively to the points given them, and at the conclusion of the lectures asked questions. Tea, served by the Indies, concluded a pleasant afternoon at this school.
