THE ENGLISH FLOODS.

CESSATION OF RAIN. POSITION STILL SERIOUS. (British Official Wireless.) Received November 20, 11.24 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 19. The weather is fair to-day, with no rain, and the anxiety caused in the flooded areas of England is in consequence to some extent relieved. The flooding is still serious, however, in many parts of the country, notably in the valleys of the Medway, Avon, and Don. In Bath the low-lying parts of the town suffered severely, and in Leicestershire and other counties several villages are still isolated.
