Buyers stayed in for the > former at £lOl 15s, and for the 1946 at i- £lO5. Tho 5 per cont Rural Bonds, 1947, [: were quoted at 15s lower at £lO3 ss, liold--6 ers asking £lO5 10s. Bank shares were I, dull on a limited demand. Commercial of Australia were wanted at 16s sd, sellers 1- 16s 9d. E.S. and A. were unchanged at £5 o 2s 6d, and National of Australasia, £5 s; paid, were easy at £6 7s 6d. Now South o Wales were 2s 6d down at £3l 7s 6d, sellers coming in at £32. Now Zealand were steadier on dealings at 50s 3d. Union of Australia eased 2s 6d at £9. Financial issues were quiet and showed very little change. There was a better inquiry for gas shares at late rates. , Insurance shares were weak, National being quoted at 19s 3d, a .- drop of 2d, South British at 88s, and Stan- ? dard at 64s 6d. New Zealand Insurance 1 woro 3d better at 62s 9d. Meat ireezing t issues were a firm market. Now Zealand - Refrigerating improved to 21s 9d. The 10s paid, which sold late on Saturday at 10s ■ sd, moved up to 10s 7d, sellers 11s, Gear s Meat were stronger at 21s 3d, sellers 22s s 6d. Tooths ' were wanted at 565, sellers asking 57s 6d ’ and Tooheys had a buyer in at 28s. Mis- ' cellaneous, industrial, and trading issues f were quiet and little changed. Dealings wore reported jn British Tobacco at 38s ' 6d, Broken Hill Proprietary at 545, and | Dominion Fertiliser at 22s mining section King Solomon had dealings at 3s 4d and 3s 4r,d.
