CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 1. Six charges of shoplifting of goods to a total value of nearly £lO were preferred against Nancy Elsie Anderson, married aged 23, and Lillian Katherine Franks single, aged 19, in the Magistrate’s ’ Court to-day. Anderson was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment and Franks was admitted to two years’ probation.
