TABLE TENNIS.
MANAWATU v. LEVIN. Teams representative of the A and B grades ol the Manawatu Table Tennis Association journeyed to Levin on Friday night to engage in a series of matches with the Horowhenut representatives. In the A grade Manawatu registered a comfortable win by 2J names to 7, but the margin was restncted to 19—17 in the B grade. _ During the supper interval, Mr H. Bennett, on behair of the Horowhenua Association, thanked the visitors for their presence, adding that great benefit to the homo players should result, Mr T. Rowland, on behalf of the visitors, thanked the Horowhenua Association for the hospitality extended and expressed the hope that the- match would be an annual event.
