ACTRESS ROBBED.
BY NEW YORK BANDITS. NEW YORK, Sept. 14. Two well-dressed bandits,- who announced themselves as representatives of a motion picture corporation, gained admittance to the residence of Miss June Knight, musical comedy and film actress, in an exclusive apartment building facing Central Park, bound her hands and feet- with electric cord and her pyjama belt and escaped with 5000 dollars’ worth of jewellery. The similarity in technique led the police to believe it was the work of two men who recently robbed _ Miss Janice Dawson, stage actress, of jewellery valued at 4000 dollars, although in that case they posed as literary agents.
