FEILDING SALE.

The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Coy., Ltd., report:—Quite a good yarding of stock came forward at the weekly Feilding sale, when all classes were keenly competed for. There "as a. big yarding of fat sheep which experienced a rise in values on last week’s sales. Beef prices were well maintained with a particularly good demand for heifer beef. There was a good demand for hoggets of all classes again, these selling on a par with last week’s values. Store cattle met with a ready sale resulting in a total clearance under flic hammer. The dairy cattle showed a distinct rise, good cows and heifers selling very well. Quotations: — Fat hoggets, 16s 6d to 24s 6d; fat ewes, woolly, lbs 9d to 21s; .shorn, 14s 4d to 15s 10d; fat wethers, woolly, 23s 6d to 26s 9d; shorn, 21s to 22s 6d. Fat cattle: fat cows, P.A. and Her., 116, £6 17s, £7 10s, £3 4s; cows, dairy sorts, £2 15s, £3 10s, £4, £5 10s; fat heifers, l*.A., £7 17s 6d. Store sheep: Ewe hoggets, 21s 9d to 295; w.f.w. hoggets, 15s. 16s, 17s 6d, 19s. 21s 7d, 22s to 23s 8d; b.f. hoggets, 15s 6d to 19s; ewes in lamb, 22s Id. Store cattle: Yearling Hereford Moors, £3 to £4; y!g. P.A. steers, £2 6s, £3, £3 7s 6d, £4 18s; 3-yr P.A. steers, £6 B<s to £6 14s; 2-yr P.A. heifers, £3 18s; P.A. cows, £4 3s; Hereford cows, £3 18-.
