MOTORING ACCIDENT.

FARMER KILLED. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 15. Robert Milton was .killed at 2.15 o’clock this morning when the motor-car he was driving ran off a railless bridge near Mahoenui. Mr Lake, aged 30, a married man with several children, was a farmer at Mahoenui. Tom Ruki. a companion, was badly cut about the face and head and was sent to the Te Kuiti Hospital. Two other companions escaped lightly. The car dropped 15 feet into a creek. Mr Lake was found with the steering column across his throat. Mahoenui is on the Awakino River, 75 miles from New Plymouth by motor and 30 miles from To Kuiti on the main Auckland-Taronaki road.
