GRAVE INJURIES.
MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS. AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. An old nian was gravely injured and four others were less seriously hurt when the motor-car in which they were driving from Muriwai to Auckland skidded and overturned on the main road at about 3.30 o’clock this afternoon. The motor-car was extensively damaged. Charles Morley, aged 76, of 110 Richmond Road, Ponsonby, had his spine fractured and was admitted to the Auckland Public Hospital in a grave condition, which was unchanged at a late hour to-night. The motor-car skidded in loose metal, struck a bank and overturned into some scrub.
