HARBOUR RESCUE.

Per Press Association

AUCKLAND,' Sept. 13

The smart rescue of a young man who fell into the harbour semi-con-scious after an unsuccessful attempt to jump from the wharf aboard a ferry steamer bound for Devonport was made to-night by Air Al. AlcGregor, of Parnell.

Air AlcGregor dived from the stern of the moving ferry to the assistance of the other man who apparently struck his head in his fall and was floating face down near the wharf. Both men were eventually hauled from the water.
