A BIG FINE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 13. “I don’t want to send a respectable man to jail; in any case, prison does not stop it,” said Air F. K. Hunt, S.AL, in the Alagistrate’s Court today, referring to Francis Brewer, whom he fined £IOO on a charge of being the occupier of premises used as a common gaming house.
