A team of six players from tho local ping pong club journeyed to Ashhurst for llic return match on Monday night, and after a very pleasant evening’s sport tho Ashhurst team were successful in winning by 34 games to 30. Mr R. Osborne, on bc- ■ half of tho Ashhurst players, welcomed the visitors, and expressed tho hope that they had spent an enjoyable evening. Replying, Mr D. Durie thanked tho Ashhurst team for the interesting games, congratulated them on their win. and thnnked the ladies for tho very enjoyable supper. Details follow, local players being mcn-
