Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 11. Air AV. J. Green, of the staff of the Christchurch Star-Sun. Tias been appointed editor of the new Labour weekly, The Standard, which will supplant" the New Zealand Worker in about a month’s time. Mr Green was cable sub-editor of the Christchurch Star for 10 years, and lie relinquished that position to become features editor of the Star-Sun. He is a son of Air W. J. Green, secretary of the Canterbury Trades and Labour Council, and of Airs Teresa Green, chairman of the benevolent committee of the North Canterbury Hospital Board.
