JOURNEY WITH BARROW.

MR BEAVIS AT WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Eight weeks and twelve hours after leaving Auckland. Mr Lawrence Beavis pushed his wheelbarrow made from, wood from the Gospel ship to the Chief Post Office at 12.15 to-day. He intends to return by road to Auckland, pulling the barrow instead of pushing it. He is undecided whether to start to-morrow or wait till Monday. His only regret is that the money he collected for the new ship is small—only £2. He says he is used to bad weather and as fit as a fiddle.
