NEW SWIMMING CLUB.
The number of swimming clubs in the city has been further increased by the formation of a club by the employees of Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd. It is expected that the new club will have a membership of 30 to 35. Arrangements have been practically completed for the club to use the Central School swimming baths, an application to that effect being considered favourably by the School Committee on Tuesday. . , At the inaugural meeting of the new club the chair was occupied by Mr E. Collinson and the following were the officers appointed Patron, Mr .T. Cunninghame; president, Mr L H. Collinson, vice-presidents, Mrs Collinson (senior). Miss K. Mathewson, and Messrs H. Cunninghame and A. G. Roe; secretary, Miss D. Floyd; club captain, Mr O. D. McKenzie; vice-captain, Mr L. Durant; committee, Masses Jean Lampard, and M. Christensen and Messrs E. Collinson, McKenzie, P. Cowlishaw and C. J. E. McLean.
