The door ot t he Ring House jewellers’ shop in Casliel Street was hurst open last evening and jewellery to the vaiue of £ISOO was stolen with groat daring. The thief carried out Ins raid at 6.50 p.m., shattering the lock until a lack or a blow, aim systematically going through the stock and. selecting the most valuable articles, then making his way at a walkmg pace to Coiombo Street, where all trace of him was lost. . 'the burglar was seen coming out or the shop by a passer-by, who lollowcd hint when he found that the door ot the shop was broken.
