Mr Thomas Rowe, of Rongotea, is an inmate of a private hospital in Palmerston North. His friends will regret to learn that his condition is causing grave anxiety to his family. Mr H. G. Dickie, M.P. for Patea, who was one of the New Zealand representatives to the Empire Parliamentary Association conference in London, is returning by the Mataroa, which will reach Auckland on September 12. *
