HOCKEY.
JUNIOR COMPETITION
The junior competition conducted by the Manawatu Hockey Association lias now been brought to a close, the winning team being Combined Services. The winners amassed 19 points, Massey College being next with 14. The run-ners-up, however, were severely handicapped by tho vacation, during which they did not field a team. The positions of the teams are ns follow :—Combined Services, 19pts; Massey College, 14; Broadway, II - Phoenix, 4.
