ASHHURST HEIFER FAIR.

Dalgety and Coy., Lid., report on the special heifer fair held at Ashhurst yesterday, when about 120 good springing heifers were yarded:- tic have to report a highly successful sale at prices considerably in advance of recent sales. A small yarding of dairy cows also met quite a good sale. We quote: Well grown, good condition heifers, £5 to £6; medium heifers, £3 15s to £4 15s; la(er and low condition sorts, £2 10s to £3 Ida; dairy cows in milk, £3 5s to £4, daily cows, springing, £3 2s 6d to £3 17s 6d.
