SIR JULIEN CAHN’S ELEVEN. MATCH WITH AFRICANS. Received August 23, 8.55 a.m. LONDUN, Aug. 22. A match between Sir Julien Calm’s Eleven and tho South African cricketers commenced to-day. Sir Julien Calm's Eleven in the first innings made 235. The New Zealanders, Roger Blunt (85) and C. S. Dempster (30) were prominent. Crisp took 4 for 46. South Africa in the first innings have lost none for 91 (Langton, not out, 47).
