(From Our Own Correspondent.) OHAKEA. Aug. 21. Bulls and Ohakca Rifle Clubs fired the final matches in the G'liffc-Rcmington and Alanawatu Association cups in the northern section on the Ohakea range on Tuesday night. In tho Cliffc-Remington match both teanirt finished even with a fine total of 1101, and in the B grade Ohakea were successful by 18 points. In tho A grade match there wero five double portsibles and throo singles registered, and one single in the B grade match. For Ohakca, double possibles were registered by J. Simpson, K. Bailey and F. Ellery and for Bulk by C. AI. Broughton and E. Broughton. Singles were registered by Bulls members, D. Lundy, P. Thorby. It. AlcKcnzio in the A grade and L. Anderson in the B grade. On Friday night the Ohakea and Bulls A teams shoot at. Awahuri in the section finals against Levin and Linton. The Ohakca B grade have won the northern section and also shoot off against the winners of the central and southern sections, Linton and Levin. Tho results of the New Zealand Championships meeting have come to hand and the Ohakea riflemen to win prize money are as follow: A Grade, Match No. 1. K. Bailey 6s; B Grade, Match No 1. I’. Ellery ss; match No. 2, N. Lcet 8s; aggregate, N. Loot 10s. The following also snot in the season's aggregate: H. Ellery 197, N. Lcet 197. P. Ellerv 196, K. Bailey 195, G. Wiggins 194. OHAKEA, Aug. 22. 'f lic Ohakea Ifall Committee held a card evening and dance in the hall on Wednesday. There was a good attendance and the music for dancing was played by Airs 11. Redpatl]. Most games of cards were won by Mrs L. Kobersicin and Mr A. Raits. while consolation prizes were won by Miss Joy Ellery and Air L. Kobcrstcin. The ladies’ hockey team to play Ilinekoa on Saturday is as follows: —Mrs R. Griffin, Alisses P Capstiek, E. Ellerv, M. Murray. M. Taylor, AI. Tremain, .1. Pedersen. S. Knox, I. Mullins, 1. Alatt Ileus, N. Ellery and K. Taylpr. The section finals to have been fired on the Awahuri Rifle Club range on Friday night have been postponed till next Wednesday
