SPRING MEETING.

The Wanganui Jockey Club will offer stako money aggregating £1720 at its spring fixture on September 12 and 14, the larger portion being for the second day when an eight-race card will bo i>resented as compared with seven events on the Thursday, when the totalisator will not be operated for the Two-year-Old Parade. The youngsters will race in ali earnestness on the Saturday, while the Wanganui Guineas, which is contested over a mile, will also figure on the programme, which is an excellently varied one. Owners and trainers aro reminded that nominations for all events at tho meeting will close to-morrow night at 8 o’clock.
