FORESTRY’S 'THIRD SUCCESSIVE
AVIN. SYDNEY, Aug. 21. At the Victoria Park races, Forestry scored his third successive and easy win. The following was the result of tho VICTORIA PARK HANDICAP. FORESTRY, 9.0 (Bartle) 1 REGAL SON, 8.5 (Laycock) 4 EL SENORITA, 7.5 (Richards) 3 Nine started, including Blixten and Queen Helen. Two lengths; a neck. lime, 2.12 —a race record. _ , Limyris was second in the first division of tho Three and Four-year-old Handicap, in which Grand Duke was unplaced. _ Sir AValter was third in the second division of the same race. ~ Le Grand was unplaced in the Maiden Handicap, Golden Chaneo was unplaced in the first division of the Flying Handicap, and Stratosphere was unplaced in the second division of the Flying Handicap.
AVIN FOR REGAL STAR. BRISBANE, Aug. 21. At the Queensland Turf Club races, tho following was tho result of the EXHIBITION HANDICAP, ono milo and a quarter. REGAL STAR, 8.3 (Donkin) 1 THALAVYN, 8.10 (Spencer) 2 HARVEST FIELD, 7.8 (Knox) 3 Eleven started, including Lough Neagh and Gladswood. Half a length; half a length. Time, 2.4 J.
